Strategic planning and evaluation of organizational capabilities

Carlos Guarnizo began his career in the development sector 25 years ago, working in project management, program management and general management positions, in organizations dedicated to health promotion and sustainable development. In addition, he has experience in advising and consulting in strategic planning and operational management of organizations and programs through the use of information and communication technologies. Likewise, he has worked on the execution and delivery of large-scale programs, with an economic, social and environmental focus. He is passionate about leading the implementation of digital transformation strategies in the nonprofit sector, through the strategic design and implementation of numerous web portals and mobile applications based on user needs.

He has global experience, having carried out internships and visits to organizations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Korea, Philippines, Pakistan, Sudan and Egypt.

He is a Doctor by training and has a Master's Degree in Business Administration. In addition, he has training in Health Services Management, Leadership, Population and Development, and the use of Artificial Intelligence.

He has been a university professor on various topics for the innovation of development programs and project management.  

He speaks Spanish and English.
