Organizational development

Juan Manuel began his career in the development sector, with non-profit organizations, almost 30 years ago, working in management. of projects as coordinator, manager, director of operations and regional management, in international cooperation and organizations dedicated to Leadership, Development of indigenous populations, History and culture, Income generation, Microfinance and development of small companies. Between 2003 and 2006, he worked in the Northeast of Brazil, supporting Alliance Interage, in monitoring and evaluation, in addition to management and financial training for about 25 NGOs, in Self-sustainability, through the Mobilize and Tear projects.

In 1996, he founded VISION, Representaciones y Servicios (VRS Consult), consulting firm dedicated to capacity building management of companies and non-profit organizations, planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects, and strengthening of the human resource.

To date he has trained in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Republic Dominican, Haiti, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Mozambique, Angola, Guinea Bissau, South Africa, Thailand, etc., in Project Management, Program Management, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Organizational Sustainability and Financial, and Combating Fraud in organizations. He has developed coaching and consulting in organizational management, projects and programs, as well as Planning for Organizational Sustainability, in approximately 14 countries.

He is a Public Accountant and Auditor and MBA, he has various training programs in Management, Planning, Monitoring and Project Evaluation, in addition to studies in Okinawa, Japan, in training small tourism businesses, he is Project certifiedDPro Foundations, Project DPro Practitioner, ProgramDPro, MEALDPro and in Risk Management in development projects.

He has been a university professor since 1994, having served to date at universities in Guatemala, Brazil and El Salvador on issues of Budgets, Marketing, Project Management, Sustainability, Organizational Strategy, etc.

He speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
